Wow, what awaits us in 2009?

So are any of you making resolutions? I have never been good at those. I usually like to set goals and stepping stones to get to those goals.

The kids and I sat and watched ‘Little House on the Prairie‘ until the midnight hour. Yes, we watched about 4 episodes. We snacked a lot too. But it was New Years, so I let it slide.

It had been so long since I have watched “Little House on the Prairie” and I really enjoyed them. We are starting with season 1. It got us to talking about ‘the old days’ and how much things have changed. We talked about all that Laura did see while she lived well into the 1900′s.

The kids liked Carrie and would laugh and enjoy her small parts in the shows. They were interested to learn that the girl who played Laura, Melissa Gilbert, is older than me!

Today will be a ‘lazy day’ or ‘relaxing day’ sounds better. I think I am fighting off a cold because I have had a slight headache for 2 days and my body feels tired. I just hope it doesn’t get any worse and that the kids and Don do not get sick.

It is about time I start the next one. With the holidays, I am running late on my preparations. Ugh!
