Easter Lapbook
Tags: Easter, Easter Lapbook, Lapbooking, lapbooksBy Cynthia Albright

This month’s lapbook, we are focusing on Jesus and the events that led up to His resurrection and those following His resurrection.
I was debating whether to name this lapbook, ‘The Resurrection Lapbook,’ but decided to keep it with Easter only because it entails the whole story and not just His resurrection.
I found a nice public domain text that was written to children telling the story of Easter. It is told by ‘Aunt Charlotte’ who teaches children about Christ. I typed up the text for you to use to fill in the lapbook components.
Enjoy this lapbook as you learn about our Savior’s greatest gift.

Thank you Cynthia! My reluctant writer has become very excited about this lapbook. On the first day he wrote one word answers but today he filled the whole inside of the resurrection mini book with writing. That is a first for him! That you for inspiring him to write.

We finished our lapbook today. Another big thumbs up!
We did find one typo on p25 it says John 19:16 – it should be John 14:16
My son would love to do more Bible studies of this type. Do you know of anything else like this?

I’ve just finished the third lesson and I had to write and tell you what a wonderful time I am having with my two sons. My oldest is delayed, (at about a 6 year old level, though he is 10), and he is answering almost all the questions correctly. He is newly adopted and he was not raised with this knowledge and I love the simplicity of the stories, yet true to Scriptures and the simple, yet profoundly to the point, “crafts” or lapbook activities. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! The Lord is Good!
(I haven’t looked at the links, as I feel what you have provided is more than enough, but I may check them out later.) Blessings,
Cynthia
