Like the rest of this site,
this is new and I will add to it as we go. For this coming
school year, I want to incorporate a hymn study. I am not
all that sure just how, but I know I want the kids to learn
and appreciate the old hymns. We listen to them in the
morning while doing chores, but I want to go a little bit
deeper. This will be good for me to, because I don't even
know any all the way through. If I do know any, it is just
the chorus.
I decided to make up a few
notebooking pages. Again, they are simple because my kids
are still small. I mainly want them to learn the words to
the hymns and appreciate the meaning, so we will take our
time with them. How many we do, depends on how fast we learn
them.
I plan on using Hymns for a Kid's Heart (Great Hymns of Our Faith)
by Bobbi Wolgemuth and Joni Eareckson Tada. and
the
Mr. Pipers Series. Plan is the key word here! ;)
